Briant O. Mills Sr.

Coach Briant O. Mills has been a driving force in youth sports since 1994. With over 30 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to developing athletes both on and off the court. Throughout his coaching journey, he has led boys’ and girls’ teams of all ages, focusing on teaching fundamentals, building character, and creating opportunities for growth.

Under his leadership, more than 200 athletes have earned college scholarships, a testament to his commitment to player development and long-term success. As the Executive Director of MAC Athletics and the Illinois Raptors basketball program, Coach Mills has built a culture centered on hard work, discipline, teamwork, and community.

Beyond the wins and losses, his mission is to prepare young athletes for life—equipping them with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed in sports, education, and beyond. His passion for the game and dedication to his players continue to inspire athletes, families, and the community he serves.
